DVD review: Boyfriend: Hell hath no fury like a woMAN scorned (2012)

First I´d like to thank Heidi Moore for contacting me and providing me with a copy of her film.
Carrie (LaShona Haskell) can’t stand how nice and chipper her boyfriend (Daniel Simpson) is. The night he brought her flowers after work, she decided it’s time for him to go. In her attempt to off her “oh so wonderful boyfriend” things take a turn for the worst. The glitter filled, bloody tampon flinging, woMAN with a vengeance worst. Will Carrie get away? Or will she get what’s coming to her? Tune in and find out! Boyfriend: Hell hath no fury like a woMAN scorned is a short film written and directed by Heidi Moore. The acting is okay, the camerawork and editing is pretty good but this short film strong point is the fast and furious onslaught of writer Heidi Moore ´s eccentric fantasy. There is a lot of humour in this, it might not be for everyone but I laughed out loud several times. There is some gore, it looks pretty amateurish, and there is no T & A in this.
This review is based upon a DVD-screener, released by Wretched Productions, provided by Heidi Moore.
Rating: 5½ out of 7. I enjoyed it, it´s a fun and very eccentric joyride. I hope to see more from Heidi Moore in the future.
