DVD review: Klagger (Video 2010)
First of all I´d like to thank the team behind Klagger for sending me a screener. Now let´s get to the review. For one man (Matthew Aycock), a routine day on-the-job becomes a hellish nightmare when he encounters a malevolent soul (Matt Willis) trapped in an abandoned factory. Klagger is a short film co-produced, written and directed by Casey Crow. It´s just 12 minutes long but it´s 12 wonderful and quite creepy minutes. Both the cinematography and production design is excellent, the derelict factory is a stunning enviroment and is used to good effect, heck I´ll admit up front that I loved it. The soundtrack is used to good effect and helps set the mood and create a creepy atmosphere. Both the acting and the special fx are good, the special fx are all practical which is nice and the malevolent soul looks great!
Rating: 6½ out of 7. If you like ghost/spirit stories you need to check out Klagger as it´s definitely worth a look
