Review: Time Again (2011)

After a young waitress receives strange coins for a tip, she inadvertently becomes embroiled in an underworld battle with a notorious criminal that leads to her death. With the help of a mysterious old lady, her younger sister goes back in time to save her from being murdered. Time Again is written by C.S. Hill, Debbie Glovin and Ray Karwel who also is the director. The acting is pretty good, nice chemistry between the sisters played by Angela Rachelle and Tara Smoker and Scott F. Evans is very good as Mr. Way (the main bad guy character). It´s professionally shot and edited but it´s quite evident that it was shot on a small budget (it´s very noticeable in some scenes). The soundtrack is good. It´s fast paced and there is hardly a dull moment during its running time of 82 minutes. It´s a actionpacked timetravelling flick in the style of Back to the Future and of course things doesn´t always go as planned. There are several funny moments in it. I can imagine that some viewers might find it a bit confusing with it´s non-linear form. There are several violent/gory shoot outs but the squibs are mostly computer gendered. No T & A in this...
Time Again is due to be released on DVD on the 21 of August 2012 by Brain Damage Films.

Rating: 6 out of 7. I enjoyed Time Again. It´s an entertaining fast paced mix of action, sci fi and some comedic elements. The interaction especially between the sisters are good and I did laugh out loud once in awhile but mostly I just had a smirk on my lips...
