Review: Thy Kill Be Done (2010)

In a city overrun by crime, the local church stands as the last bastion of good. But when the vicious leader of a gang of hoodlums murders the kindhearted Monsignor, the nuns of his clergy vow bloody revenge. But these are no ordinary nuns... Thy Kill Be Done is is written, produced and directed by Greg Hanson and Casey Regan. It´s mixed breed of nunsploitation and vigilante flick with a big dose of comedy and some splatter. We get decent acting, good camera work and editing, the gore make-up fx isn´t very good, it is standard indie splatter. For fans of t & a I´ll have to report that there is no nudity in this one... The best part of the film, in my opinion, is a short and violent Vietnam war flashback. Nuns, rape/revenge in Nam... now there is something I would pay to see... =)
This review is based upon a online source provided by the filmmakers, Thy Kill Be Done can be seen on their website http://www.grethproductions.com/home/
Rating: 3½ out of 7. It´s a pretty funny and entertaining little short film (running time 16 minutes), check it out on the film makers website.
