Review: Baby-Sitting (2012)
A young woman (Morgane Housset) accepts a babysitting offer from a couple she doesn’t know. Puzzled by the children’s odd behavior, she invites some friends to keep her company. Little do they know that it will be the worst night of their lives… Baby-Sitting is written and directed by Lucas Masson. The acting is good, especially from Vasco Bailly-Gentaud as the little boy and Prune Richard as the little girl. It´s nicely shot and edited. The soundtrack is good. Baby-Sitting delivers horror with some dark humor and it works very well for it. It is gory and the make-up fx looks really good (won´t go into any details due to spoilers). There is no T & A in this.
Baby-Sitting is currently being screened on the Festival circuit.
Rating: 7 out of 7. I enjoyed this a lot, it´s well made, the concept is good and we get some really good looking practical gore fx. I do recommend that you make an effort to go see it if it is being shown at a Film festival near you. Highly recommended!!
